Originally produced at The Philadelphia Fringe Festival--and named a "show you can't miss" by Philadelphia Weekly-- Salvation Road  is the winner of the 2011 American Alliance for Theatre in Education Playwrights in Our Schools (PIOS) residency.


Join us in Salt Lake City May 18 for a public workshop of the script with the University of Utah Youth Theatre. A staged reading will take place at 7 p.m. in the University of Utah Union Building Little Theatre. Admission is free. 

 



This comic drama is the story of a talented young musician caught up  in the fervor a new religious movement. Is she a victim or a willing participant? When she cuts off her family and friends as "toxic threats" to her newly discovered faith, her cynical younger brother and his best friend hit the road in search of her---but how do you rescue someone who doesn't want to saved?
